University of Stirling wins BUCS Tennis Championship

The University of Stirling Men’s tennis team won the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championship in London recently after dominating opposition from south of the border. The team, captain by Jordan McCulloch, included Nicolas Rosenzweig, Nick Hatchett, Joe Gill and Rihards Emulins. Coach Euan McGinn took charge of the squad overseeing their first BUCS Championship victory.

The team, sponsored by Vision, comfortably secured victory over opponents from London Met and Loughborough. The victory followed an unbeaten run in the BUCS Premier League North where the team secured the league title.

Team captain Euan McGinn said ‘We’re extremely grateful to Vision for their continued support of the our tennis programme here at Stirling. Vision have provided the highest quality of match and training kit for a number of years. I feel it is important that the team look the part and Vision’s extensive range allows us to do that’.
