Motherwell’s own Pheonix club have the ‘Vision’

Recently founded boys football club, Motherwell Pheonix, got the opportunity to don their brand new Vision strips at Motherwell FC’s Fir Park during a recent training session taken by the Steelman’s SPL stars.

The club, founded this year by North Lanarkshire Sports Development Officer Dougie Holmes and a few old football friends, are based at Daisy Park in Motherwell where training takes place at least once a week. Already, 21 boys have signed up to the team with regular matches taking place on Saturday mornings. Dougie commented ‘Our philosophy is to develop the kids as both players and individuals, teaching them sportsmanship and respect for opponents and officials’.

The players and coaches were delighted with their new Vision strips ‘The strips are excellent quality and were designed to our needs and club colours. The process of selection to ordering was a simple one. The price was very good for the strips we received. Very happy with both sets of Strips.’

The players are pictured with Motherwell FC midfielder Keith Lasley at a recent training session taken by the SPL first team squad.
